"I am a returning guest who stayed at this hotel three years ago and had a great experience, which is the only reason I chose to come back with my family. Sadly, this stay was a complete failure.

We booked one of the larger ocean-view rooms on the 8th floor for what was supposed to be a relaxing family vacation. On the second night at around 1:00 a.m., a clearly drunk and aggressive guest spent 30–45 minutes yelling, cursing, and violently banging on doors on our floor. The noise was nonstop and frightening.

I called the front desk twice during the incident. Each time I was told that security was on the way, yet no one ever showed up. The disturbance was allowed to continue unchecked. As a result, my 10-month-old baby was woken up four times in one night. This alone makes the hotel completely unsuitable for families.

What made things worse was the hotel’s reaction—or lack of one. The next day, staff acted as if nothing had happened. No apology. No follow-up. The only solution offered was for us to move rooms, even though we did nothing wrong.

We were then downgraded to a smaller room with a broken air-conditioning unit, which made it extremely difficult for our baby to sleep. Being forced into a worse room because of another guest’s behavior and the hotel’s failure to control the situation is unacceptable.

We chose this hotel expecting comfort, safety, and professionalism. Instead, the poor overnight security response and careless handling of our complaint completely ruined our vacation. What happened on the second night turned our stay into a nightmare, and the hotel showed zero accountability.

This experience has destroyed our trust in this property. I would strongly warn families with children to think twice before booking here."

"This review is gonna be a little bit confusing.

Alex is the night associate in charge. He deserves to be a manager. He is so nice and he knows all the staff by name and it’s just super nice and takes the time to know all of the employees and knows everything about the hotel.

I go to the gym five days a week Andres at the gym was great. He is now my friend in real life helping me obtain his level of abs lol no but actually he is super nice and will take the time to show you how to use any machine you could possibly want to Use any out for any Part of your body that you wanna work out.

Food wise there’s a pizza stand that makes fresh stone pizza. I have not eaten pizza in five months, but the smell is amazing and anybody that I asked said it’s amazing.
I have only eaten fruit from the resort and a lot of different alcoholic beverages my favourite one had a banana and Rum In it, I don’t know what it was, but it was good. Somebody introduced me to Mojitos, which is also pretty damn good.

Directly outside the hotel to the right, the ocean has a lot of rocks, but if you go to the left, it is super nice this area compared to the other side of hotel zone is much nicer. We don’t get the seaweed. It’s not as busy and you don’t hear the noise From all the clubs.

The front desk lady was also super nice. I do not remember her name. Was very nice.

Access:
All Inclusive means, including the Caribe And GR Solaris not just one of the three that you are staying at. The Caribe has a sports bar open until 1 AM with a pool table, air hockey table and foosball table and is one of the most unique entryways to a bar I’ve ever seen. Definitely very cool. I highly recommend you check it out.

Obviously, you cannot pick the guest that you come to the hotel with but during my eight nights here I had an amazing time meeting All the different people that are at the hotel.

I gave location of four out of 10 because it was definitely far away from all the noise of the bars which are in Cancun down at the end, but it was quite far from downtown Cancun so it took 40 to 45 minutes just to get to downtown Cancun on the bus Other than that I have no complaints!! :)

When it comes to my room, the door to the balcony did not close all the way, causing a loud noise from the wind blowing against the doors all night to keep me up and was blowing directly on my face so I got a little bit of a cold, but my room had a nice Jacuzzi on the balcony and a nice king size bed and was cleaned every single day 10 out of 10 service super nice staff.
I did tip here and there. But it’s not necessary as you will get what you need and want regardless Just remember these people are making so much less than you are and every dollar has such an impact on their lives. They are for the most part in my experience nice people and good people and they deserve better so yes tipping is optional, but remember to be nice just because they have to clean your room does not mean that you should leave it a disaster for them to clean up be respectful, be kind, and be caring

"We had the most amazing time at the royal solaris. We were so excited to come here when we booked it online and celebrate my birthday here. we wasnt disappointed. The food in the main hood hall was so good. Im a veggie and there was so many good options for me. I was very nervous because I assumed mexico would be very meat based. The cocktails at the bars are really good and the pool area is really nice. The staff are really friendly and helpful. You can get a bus into the center very easily for a dollar. A nice beach and an even better one a short walk up the road. Id love to come here again."
