The atmosphere, design and overall ambience of the place is special, and very unique.
Upon arrival we were immediately made to feel like we were the only guests in the restaurant. We had (at least) 4 different people at our table ready to start the experience.
The menu is big, which usually worries me but the staff were incredibly helpful. Especially Carlos and Cristopher, both gave us excellent recommendations for the food and drinks.
Carlos even brought over 4 example steaks he wanted to talk to us about. He was pushing us to order a 3,200$ (MXN) steak, but apart from that superb.
We opted for the rib eye chicharron, which was served and put into tacos for us table side. Then we had a green salad (it was huge!!) and then a Rib-eye cap steak.
I’m a big meat lover, but this steak, wow….
It was finished table side with foei gras, bone marrow and garlic butter, I can still taste it almost a week later…
You will absolutely find cheaper restaurants in Cancun, but I think you’ll seriously struggle, to find better. This was be an absolute must for us everytime we come back to Cancun."

"La Madalena in Cancún is a beautiful restaurant with truly impressive interior design—very stylish and unique. The food was excellent, high quality, and beautifully presented.
However, there are two aspects that affected the overall experience. The music was, in my opinion, far too loud, making it difficult at times to understand the waitstaff when they spoke to us. Additionally, the restaurant has a large amount of staff constantly moving around in a very hectic way. This created a sense of stress and too much activity, which personally made the experience feel less relaxed.
Overall, it was still a good dining experience in Cancún, with great food and a stunning atmosphere."

"Made reservations here for my birthday and it was an excellent decision. The restaurant is absolutely stunning and beautiful with a very nice clean upbeat vibe. The service is over the top excellent and there are many people serving and attending to tables. Our server was very helpful describing menu options, drinks and favorites. This was one of the best experiences I've had at a restaurant in Cancun. I ordered a ribeye that was very fresh and full of flavor with the green salsa smothered on top. I was very satisfied with the drinks food and service and will definitely come back here in the near future. It is definitely worth the stop!"
