The combination of curry, pineapple, coconut, and banana with lobster and shrimp was indescribably delicious. I was in heaven. My girlfriend enjoyed her whole fish (grouper) too. We enjoyed a great bottle of Mexican chardonnay at the waiter's recommendation. Service was excellent. The only negative was the volume of the live music. The sound reverberated off the wall of glass windows and the tiled floor and into our ears too much. The musicians were excellent; it's just that the room is not well suited for live music while dining -- it took over our conversations too much when it should have been more in the background. Overall, a perfect Cancun dining experience that we highly recommend!"

"The "special" is essentially seafood stew with lots of shrimp and fish in a smoky blend of spices that was warm but not too hot....delicious and unique. The tamales sampler was also good. The Mayan show is a little touristy, as expected, and we preferred the nights with just musicians playing. The Mayan coffee is made tableside and was a nice end to the dinner."
