Juan Carlos made us feel comfortable and feel safe so that we could do the dive. Although we got certified at a different dive site - if I had the choice to go back in time I would have picked Cancun Scuba Center. Juan Carlos - even though he wasn’t our instructor taught us how to be better divers and explained to us techniques/tips/tricks that our previous instructor should have showed us on our course. This teaching alone was worth the price. He made us better, safer and more competent divers!
When you are new to diving it’s hard to know who is good and who is there just to take your money. Juan Carlos is one of the special ones that is passionate in making you a safer and competent diver. He picked dive sites that we were safe enough to do and when things got tricky or unexpected he was highly attentive and made sure things went okay. We will definitely book through Cancun Scuba Center for future dives and suggest everyone else do the same!
P.S. Juan Carlos was as a talented underwater photographer as well. He has a GoPro that takes high quality pictures that most dive shops don’t have here. Pictures and memories we will never forget!"

We have recently done our OWD certification and this was the first dive we made after it. They gave us a recap on the basic instructions and made sure we felt safe and comfortable. The equipment was in good conditions, the diving plan clear, and the dive sites we visited (MUSA & Arrecife Manchones) were absolutely amazing. "Juan Carlos and his entire crew were fantastic. They were very informative and educational. We are not new divers, but we're not experts and they taught us a lot. Juan Carlos helped us get our New Year set app and ready to go. The whole team went out of their way too many maker experience memorable. Several people on the boat chose not to participate in the second dive, and they catered to us by splitting up and taking some of us on a snorkel tour.
