The prices are good, and we had lagoon almost all to ourselves. I imagine arriving here next year with friends to sit by the bonfire and enjoy time together.

"It’s a very quiet and nice place in the jungle.
It’s more like a retreat away from the city in a small town so be aware of this. The road to the hotel is hard to cross and very bumpy (hope they will create a better road one day) but once there it’s beautiful. The rooms are nice and the garden is beautiful. Next to the breakfast, you can order lunch and dinner so you won’t even have leave the hotel, the food is good, pricing fair and the owners are friendly. :)"

"We stayed here in February 2024 and it was a very pleasant stay. The yoga sessions on the rooftop while the sun rises are a great way to start the day.
We did not have our own car, so we just wandered around the lake and relaxed a lot. You do however have the possibility to do much more if you want to. Buenavista does not have a lot to offer, for us it was the perfect spot to relax during our trip and be away from the busy cities.
