While some note basic amenities and occasional confusion over food policies, the overwhelming sentiment is positive, highlighting its peaceful atmosphere and value.
"All round great experience at this swimming spot! It’s peaceful and open from 6am so yiu can go early and see the sun rising. Only downside is you aren’t allowed to take food onto the pontoon, but there was some confusion over this as some people had taken food on there and it was fine. We had some crisps confiscated from us and told we could collect them when we left but they were eaten by the person on the desk! 😅 Despite this we loved this spot and came almost every day we were in Bacalar. Highly recommend"
