What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Puerto Marqués for its beautiful scenery, especially the stunning sunsets and calm, clean waters ideal for swimming and families. However, some find the persistent vendors and potential for overpricing by some establishments to be drawbacks. Despite these minor annoyances, the natural beauty and relaxed atmosphere make it a worthwhile destination.
"The people are friendly, honest and very hard-working. There are so many roving vendors, you really can't get a break. Me and my partner were even forcibly massaged on the beach. She did a great job, but I literally told her no about 35 times, no exaggeration. I felt great afterwards, so I really don't know how to feel about it. There is a few spots around the restaurants with sewage seeping into the streets. I say do not eat down in the village. If you do, you brave soul, remember the rules: only bottled beverages and well-cooked foods! Wish I had pictures to share, but I get too wrapped up in having the experience than documenting it. Check out the street view on Google maps. It's like that."
