Also has free Wi-Fi, a restaurant and bar, and offers 24-hour reception. The multilingual staff is friendly and always ready to help. I also liked the free parking, which was very convenient.

"I visited the Hotel Los Flamingos during a stop in Acapulco during my first cruise/transit of the Panama canal. Of most interest was the background history of owners John Wayne and Johnny Weissmuller (Tarzan) amongst many others, the memorabilia, the ownership which passed to one of the staff pictures side by side with John Wayne (he was there when we visited). High on the cliffs it offers great views, and little paths down to cliffside overlooks. A bush in the garden is sculpted to look like Cheetah (the Chimpanzee from the Tarzan movies), and it is possible to rent the 7 bedroom 'round house' bungalow hidden away on the property. A lot of fun to visit. I have no idea what a stay would be like as we did a day tour."

"I just have to say, I went with my whole family and we had previously revered a specific amount of rooms. When we got there, there were not enough rooms and we actually had to wait for some rooms to become available and that was quite embarrassing. The only good thing was the view and the pool."
