What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Anse Dufour is celebrated for its stunning beach and incredible opportunities to swim with sea turtles, offering a magical snorkeling experience. However, visitors frequently mention the significant challenges with limited parking and the need to arrive very early. Some also express disappointment with how other visitors treat the marine life, urging for more respect towards the turtles and corals.
"Monday morning 7:30 am , a handful of people snorkeling, I was by myself .. and I did indeed see turtles! Must go before 9. By 9, everyone was out of the water and not seeing anything"
Kyle Fields
"Pretty beach but full of massive idiots. The crowds follow turtles (mesmerizing, peaceful creatures😍) around in the water, they don't give them any space. Especially when they swim up closer to the beach. Then they're basically being circled in by the people (see photo)
But the turtles are adorable, there's corals and beautiful, colourful fish in the water. However, how the wildlife is treated by people is a shame and disgrace.
Parking is limited, which is great, because it limits the amount of people being able to come here. Little shade.
If you visit, come early and be respectful.
Edit: At 10:30 AM, three boats arrived and let about 50 people out to snorkel here."

"I came here in a day trip on a cruise ship, it was fantastic snorkeling here, there were so many fish, a few turtles, and beautiful colored corals on the rocks, I can highly recommend it!"
