"Can see this from our roof so decided to walk the 2 km from the house. Beautiful peaceful walk in the countryside, minimal traffic, the odd tractor. Take water and wear sturdy shoes, not for the feint hearted as the walk to the top is quiet steep, irrelevant of which direction you walk."

It's a peaceful place, perfect for a relaxing walk or a quiet moment of reflection. "The Laferla Cross is founf in one of the highest places in Malta, just behind the quiet towb of Siggiewi. It can be reached by foot from different places (like Girgenti, Fawwara, Dingli) or by car from Dingli. The cross is a religious one and it is quite big and can be seen from far. It is situated in the country side, and from beside it you can see breath taking views of all the island. During the Good Friday period, the place is decorated for the occassions and is visited by several thousand of people."
