Just a couple of minutes from St Paul’s Cathedral, missed by many, is a hidden, secluded courtyard. It is a fascinating spot because it contains not one but TWO ancient treasures… There is a link in my bio to buy my new book should you want to, containing around 150 hidden corners (gardens, alleyways and tucked away pubs), including self guided walks in there as well. #london #londonhistory #ci...

Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise Mdina Cathedral for its astonishingly beautiful and colorful Baroque interior, with many highlighting the unique and intricate floor tombs as a must-see feature. The historical charm of the surrounding Silent City and the golden glow of the sandstone exterior also receive high marks. Some note that it can get crowded, especially on weekends, and that the exterior, while pretty, is less striking than the interior.

"I came on a Saturday morning, many people were there but it wasn't packed.
I got the ticket the includes the museum next to it.
You buy the ticket In the museum anyway.
Usually the ticket is 15 Euro, but on that day is it was only 3, because it went to charity, which was very nice to hear and be part of.
The cathedral itself is beautiful, so many things to see, so you can take your time.
The chairs that you see is because I came on a wedding day, cool thing to experience I guess.
Overall a must see in my opinion in Madina."

"St. Paul's Cathedral in Mdina is truly impressive – majestic and full of historical charm. The entrance fee is €4.50 and includes both access to the cathedral itself and the museum with interesting exhibits. A highlight of the visit was the ringing of the bells, which added a unique atmosphere to the experience. It’s definitely a place worth visiting!"

Jakub Koczwara

"I have visited hundreds of different religious buildings all over the world and this has to be one of the nicest I have ever been to. The exterior of the St. Paul cathedral is pretty, but somewhat anonymous, however it os built in beautiful sandstone giving it a golden look during sunrise and sunset. The interior on the other hand is astonishingly beautiful and dressed in lots of various colors giving it a unique and colorful and artistic impression different from many other catholic churches and cathedrals."
