"Wat Machimmaram is best known for its gigantic sitting Buddha statue, one of the largest in Southeast Asia. It’s definitely an impressive sight and worth a quick stop if you’re in the area. The temple grounds are fairly peaceful, though not as well maintained or vibrant as some other temples in the region.
There isn’t much else to see beyond the main statue, so don’t expect a full half-day visit. Parking is straightforward, and entrance is free, which makes it an easy detour. Overall, worth visiting once to admire the scale of the Buddha, but not necessarily a must-return spot."
