Langkawi, being an island, is full of beaches. As a tourist hotspot, one will find most of public beaches crowded but Tanjung Ruh is exception. Why? Because it is bit far from the most of the hotels and island attractions. Actually, there are many hotels right on the beach, but still, it is far from the main city where most of the people staying.
One has to drive for 45 mins or so to reach there. We went to Kilim Mangrove Forest boat tour and after finishing our tour, we made a stop at Tanjung Ruh, which is close by.
We were looking for a good restaurant and the closest available was at Tanjung Ruh Pantai (Spice@Rhu Terrace). The beach facing restaurant serves very delicious food.
Food, hydration, drinks and a walk on the white sand, this all we can wish to end our day here. Yes, Tanjung Ruh has clean white spotless sand beaches.
This is one of the better places in Langkawi, if shell collection is your hobby."
