What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Sungai Sendat Waterfall is a highly recommended spot for picnics and relaxation, praised for its accessible beauty and refreshing waters. While many enjoy the reasonable fees and functional facilities, some visitors note occasional maintenance issues with toilets and concerns about littering. Overall, it's a great natural escape close to the city.
"PERFECT FOR PICNIC & RELAXING ! I went here on Sunday early morning but unfortunately upon arrival there were heavy downpour there and we have to wait for about 1 hour for the rain to stop. The workers there were very focused and dedicated with their jobs. They explained well to visitors and also warning everyone not to enter the river or near the waterfall as the water flow was very fast (due to rain). We managed to park not to far and can choose the best spot. There were many people but it's not too pack. What i love the most here is that the restrooms functioning well compared to other places that i go. So i can take shower nicely here. The fees also reasonable, the view is spectacular, everyone enjoyed their moments there. The water not too deep, not too shallow. So very good to have fun here"

"Went here on the weekend and it was packed with people, parking inside was full and a lot of people were camping with families and friends. Entrance fee is RM 2 pay upon entering but for camping it costs more. Basic facilities like toilet and prayer room are provided, clean, comfortable and can accommodate visitors. There are many sections available for the river from the waterfall to the picnic area. But there are upper sections that are closed to the public and perhaps can impose danger to the society so they don't want to take any risk. In terms of cleanliness, it's okay you can't expect a very clean area with these amounts of visitors. There are few uncivilized people that need to be educated on how to keep nature clean. The waterfall is nice, high, and shallow suitable to swim or do some stunt but please be extra careful. The water is cold and refreshing. There are also people who make barbeque, cook, hold a family day and birthday party and healing. If you did not bring any food, there are some stalls outside of the river that sell foods but as consumers we need to spend wisely."

"Very nice place to chill and relax with water flowing beautifully not so deep suitable for kids as well, just that some visitors not being thoughtful cooking food then washing utensils with food waste into river, even ppl are looking they don't bother, management do something about it as charging entry fees do better, less toilets shower area, male toilet without lock, broken door only half covered, my husband couldn't shower or use the toilet all were spoiled, ppl pay fees for entry and earning so much in a day for sure can maintain well. Only that 2 things are disappointing. Don't pollute nature and imagine others come to swim in the same water, that ppl wash plate with cili sos or rice pot."
