The hike to get here was absolutely worth it. Not overly difficult, but adventurous enough to make you feel accomplished. The rocks can be slippery, so wear good shoes and take your time. My record for ascending was 1h50mins and descending was 1h12m.

"Very chill hike and very quiet. Go early in the morning at 8am for more private experience. Around 10-11am the crowd already arrived. Suitable for beginners. Around 4km one way. Watch out for leeches though"

"Date of visit : 19 August 2025
Hidden gem indeed. The majestic 120 metre waterfall is located up in the mountain about 4 km from the Poring Hot spring office. It was a difficult hike for me. The entire hike from start to finish took me 7 hours. Younger n fitter person might be able to do for half that time. Nevertheless there were signboards with emergency telephone nos written on them along the way if you need the park people to rescue you. Otherwise make sure you are fit for the journey. Beware of leeches. Wear proper hiking shoes, bring hiking sticks and lots of drinking water."
