What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
DPAC is praised for its intimate performance spaces, beautiful red brick architecture, and excellent acoustics, offering a great experience for concerts and theatre. However, visitors frequently encounter significant difficulties with confusing parking signage and a cold interior climate, with some safety concerns raised regarding emergency exits.
"The small performance hall can host intimate concerts with seating for up to 200 people. The stepped seating ensures an unobstructed view from every seat, though it may be challenging for the elderly to navigate. The architecture is beautiful, making it a pleasant place to chill. However, there aren't many restaurants nearby."

"Canadian Rajah, a play about the Ranee of Sarawak, Rajah Charles Brook’s English wife and her step son. My first time coming to this theater! A maze of juxtapositioned architectural facades, quiet corners, small seeming like alleyways and of course the Black Box. Enjoyed a coffee before the play from one of the eateries there, enjoying the cool breeze from the rain, which seemed to be inside the buildings. A nice place to explore, see it for yourself. And the Play was excellent and well performed."

"Is a very small hall and stage. The air cond is abit cold so please make sure to wear more warm clothes when you attend any concerts. They dont sell any waters. But can get it at nearby convenient stores."
