What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Lubuk Semilang Park for its beautiful natural setting, especially the refreshing waterfall and the delightful fruit tasting experience. Families particularly enjoy the animal feeding opportunities and the overall kid-friendly atmosphere. Some reviews mention a lack of cleanliness in certain areas, possibly due to monkeys, but generally, the park is considered a well-maintained and enjoyable attraction.
"We arrived at MARDI Agro Technology Park Langkawi around 1 PM with our kids, and at first, we were surprised to see that we were the only visitors. Naturally, we wondered if the place was worth it. But as soon as we boarded the little shuttle bus and the tour began, all our doubts disappeared.
The journey started gently, driving through lush greenery while breathing in the fresh air of tropical fruits. The guide, warm and knowledgeable, introduced us to various fruit trees as we moved along. Soon, we reached a shaded spot where an open fruit buffet was waiting for us – and what a treat it was! We tasted jackfruit, mango, banana, pineapple, dragon fruit, watermelon, pomelo, mangosteen, and papaya. Every single fruit was fresh, ripe, and absolutely delicious. A real feast for the senses.
After the tasting, the kids had the chance to feed some goats, and the guide even handed out star fruits, which were juicy and refreshing. We took beautiful photos surrounded by nature and then enjoyed ice-cold fresh coconuts – the perfect tropical refreshment.
The tour continued with more fruit trees and another stop where the kids had a thrilling ziplining session. Their laughter filled the air! We hopped back on the bus for our next adventure: feeding friendly deer, which the children absolutely loved. The final stretch of the tour led us to adorable baby pineapple plants, ending our visit on a sweet note.
The entire experience was not only exciting but also educational, especially for the kids. It turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip to Langkawi.
Tips:
• Don’t forget to bring a hat and water – it can get hot!
• Best to go in the afternoon when it’s less crowded.
• Ideal for families with children who love animals and nature."

"A very interesting place, very calming. The environment is very beautiful, but the cleanliness of this area is lacking. Maybe because of the monkeys who like to pick up the discarded trash. But other than that, everything is beautiful."
