"This place needs a lot of revamping. All the signs are faded, still signs from 2016 events up and lots of the boards are broken. Nice forest scenery but an experience you want to finish quickly"

"A must-visit place when you are travelling in taiping. There are a lot of living creatures that can be spotted apart from crabs. But you must visit in the EARLY MORNING at around 8-9am (it opens at 8am), when there are a few visitors. Keep your voice down, walking down the wooden walkways quietly, you will be surprised with how many creatures you could find.
We were lucky to see squirrel, giant mudskippers, monitor lizard, monkey, common flameback woodpeckers, butterflies, dragonflies, tit ,tailor bird, fan-tail and other birds(don't know the name). A good place for bird watching.
With only RM5 for adult, RM 2 for children below 18 years old, you could spent few hours admiring the tranquility and the beauty of mangrove trees. Morover, it is free for children under 6 and senior citizen above 60. Parking fee is RM 2 per entry.
It is advisable to bring insect repellent. there are mosquitoes in the park. No sunblock and umbrella needed as the mangrove trees provide enough shade."
