What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Bukit Melawati for its unique silvered leaf monkeys and historical significance, offering a peaceful escape with scenic views. Some find transportation challenging and advise planning ahead for easier access.
"Simple and cosy place to visit. The trailer truck was fun. Monkeys are considered very friendly compared to other places. They just wanted food, that's all. Protect your food after you buy it. Otherwise they will just simply snatch it from your hand 🤣🤣"

"One of the most scenic spots in Malaysia that’s away from all the hustle and bustle of the city. Although it’s a bit far away from KL, it’s still worth it for a change of scenery. Arriving in the area at sunset is an advantage for some amazing instagrammable pictures. Monkeys in that area are used to visitors and just roaming around for food, so they aren’t hostile at all."
Ashraf AbdelAziz
"Nice as usual...Tourism Selangor and Majlis Daerah has done good upgrading of trams, added murals and also better the road to the top. Trees have been trimmed .
The museum on site is awesome and informative. Upgraded the air cond means we can cool down if you arrive in the midday like us !"
