Reviews Summary
Visitors praise The Godown Arts Centre for its vibrant contribution to Kuala Lumpur's creative scene, highlighting its diverse exhibitions and performances. While some find the venue's accessibility or amenities could be improved, the overall experience is highly valued for its cultural immersion and support of local artists.
"A historic restored building hidden in the heart of town. Feels like a sanctuary tucked away, with a beautiful exterior covered in local flora. I like to keep up with their social media to see what’s happening in their space as it’s always something to be desired, usually within the arts and/or educational dynamic. I’ve been for their artisan markets, different art exhibits and enjoy it throughly every time. Some of the events also host workshops.
It is a smaller space, so doesn’t take long to meander around…unless you find yourself getting lost in the covered outdoor area where you might find yourself at the rooftop garden."

"Beautiful and pleasant environment. The only downside is that it’s located in a lorong without a signboard, which makes it a bit hard to find."

"Tucked away in the middle of the city, one would never have guessed there is such venue for hosting events, exhibitions and displays of artistic brilliance from local creative talents. After seeing so many posts from my social media, I decided to check them out myself. Alas, I came right on closing time and didn't manage to explore the grounds and the space. However, the organisers were kind enough to let me enjoy the exhibition for a short while. I love the high ceiling there and this provides an airy feeling and provides a generous amount of natural light. There is car park right our front. Keen to see visit other events here in the future."
