"On 30th Nov, my friend and I visited this bar after welcomed by the security. We were just enjoying the music and vibing in front of the DJ like normal customers. A waitress then told us that an older male customer wanted to sponsor our drinks, and we agreed after clearly confirming it was on him TWICE. The drink choice was decided by the waitress. TWO glasses of cocktail arrived, even though I asked for ONE only. Later, the same waitress suddenly brought a bill and asked us to pay. She then claimed the man would only cover the drinks if we followed him to a hotel, which is completely inappropriate and unacceptable.
I explained our situation to the waitress but she insisted that we need to be responsible for the drinks. We were forced to pay for drinks that we were clearly told were sponsored. This is the responsibility of the bar and the staff, not the customers. The entire situation felt misleading, unsafe, and very unprofessional. Management seriously needs to take accountability.
