This makes university life vibrant and engaging, with numerous international events, student activities, and discussions that go beyond the classroom. Academically, IIUM is strong, offering a wide range of programs, especially in Islamic studies, law, engineering, and social sciences. The lecturers are highly knowledgeable, and the curriculum is designed to integrate both Islamic knowledge and modern education.

"Visited IIUM for a training program for 2 weeks. It was a good experience overall. Uni is approximately 400 acres wide with one of the best architecture and design you can see in Malay. I really enjoyed each and every corner, especially the Shah Alam mosque which is located at the centre of the Uni, different Kulliahs with their unique architecture will surely captivate any student. Each and every Mahallah (Hostel dorms) is situated along with food courts providing variety of cuisines with proper maintenance and sanity. Foods from these mess are cheaper. What I really like about every Mahallahs is that each of them has seperate Surau (prayer hall) for the students. Am not that familiar with the academics and curriculum cause I was there for only 2 weeks for a debate training program. And from my perspective I really loved the university"

"Arabian cuisine over here recalls back memory back when I was studying in Qatar in 2008. All food here is reasonably cheap and good taste. The only downside is to find a car park space is extremely hard especially during lunch hours or special events."
