Batu Ferringhi Beach has clean and pristine white color sand and vibrant light blue color water. Looks so calm and peaceful on the same time. The traits of the beach doesn't correlate with the popularity. Batu Ferringhi Beach remain quiet. Very suitable for introvert.
A bit out of topic yet useful information, Batu Ferringhi Beach can be accessed from Starbucks Batu Ferringhi branch. It had direct access to the beach, albeit needed to across the outlet at first."

"Batu Ferringhi Beach is an okay spot for a beach day in Penang. There are plenty of restaurants and bars lined up along the shore, and many places host fire shows at night, which makes the evenings lively. The backdrop of trees and mountains adds to the scenery and gives the beach a nice vibe.
That said, the water isn’t very clear and the sand isn’t soft or white like you might expect from tropical beaches elsewhere. Still, it’s one of the better beach escapes in Penang if you’re looking to get away from the city and enjoy a relaxed seaside atmosphere."
