I walk to the reception they took my booking number said need to wait bcs after 5pm office is close so reception cannot be check and need to put in a new booking took me 20mins , I booked two bedroom apartment. For my 74 years old parents.
After check-in
Unit given is in block 1 drove to the block then when up to the room. Entered the room I found shoes and all the light and ac was on enter the master bedroom there was two guest begs. I took my parents down and moved to lobby back and waited til they send a new unit keys but different building block 4 took all the begs and drove to block 4.
2nd building
Enter the room all was run down as a no star slum hotel as i saw in bangladesh low budget hotel but charging RM400 per night but tht also not the full night bcs i check in very late night. I can say this unit worth of paying rm50 per night. Wanted to go to washroom as I travel from penang for my uncles funeral. The flush is not working. God damn it’s 12.30am.
What else to say I’m very disappointed please do something do not spoil a iconic place where you guys can’t even maintain a facility how they rate you guys 4 star. You guys have show the standard of Melaka but spoiling the reputation of the state."

"I recently had an absolutely terrible stay at this property. Upon entering my room, there were invisible disturbances that made the room feel unsafe. I requested a room change, but the new room was no better; in fact, the situation worsened.
I decided to check out immediately and requested a refund. Although the hotel acknowledged my problem, they ignored me afterward and no replyto my messages. When they finally responded, they demanded “proof” of the situation. I explained that when it happened, I was scared and had no way to record or provide proof, yet my refund request was still rejected.
The staff were completely unresponsive, and the third-party booking service offered no assistance either. This was by far one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had, and I would strongly advise against staying here."

"The room is terrible with dim lights , slippery toilet floor and sticky living room floor. But the room receptionist has quick response , I called to ask about the room booking details and got an answer/respond immediately.
Not recommended for family who has elders or babies as someone might fall down due to the slippery/sticky floor.
Overall , it’s an old building that seems lack of maintenance."
