Reviews Summary

Visitors find the San Miguel Cemetery Church and its surrounding grounds to be a historically rich and peaceful place, particularly noted for the rare access to its underground crypts during Día de Muertos. While the cemetery offers a serene atmosphere and photographic opportunities, the limited access to the crypts is a key highlight for many. Some visitors mention it's a quiet spot with colonial charm.

"St. Micheal Chapel is nice little chapel you in the middle of the St. Micheal Cemetery in the St. Lazarus district of Macau. We rarely see visitors here and never more than one or two people.

In addition to the chapel, you can visit the historic cemetery here where you can find old colonial Portuguese families mixed in with local 'western' and Chinese family plots with some nice headstones. There are plenty of nice photography opportunities here for those who have time for a visit."
