What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Parc Merveilleux is widely praised as a magical and family-friendly destination, offering a delightful mix of animals, playgrounds, and fairy tale charm at fair prices. While most experiences are overwhelmingly positive, a few visitors have noted minor issues with animal visibility on hot days and a disappointing end-of-day experience at the pony rides due to early closure.
"Cool place, several animals i haven't seen before. Worth a visit! Restaurant was unclear, i wanted a schnitzel but we needed to reserve a spot or something, eventually i had my great tasting schnitzel though without the reservation. The glass and fences, all though required of course, are 9 times out of 10 annoying. They glass mirrors like crazy, and the fence are often in the way of making a beautiful picture. I love birds and tried to take pictures of the Ara's but failed to do so."

"A magical family day out!
Parc Merveilleux truly lives up to its name! It’s the perfect place to spend a full day with kids — a charming little zoo, fantastic playgrounds, a fairy tale village, and even a mini train. The park is clean, shaded, and very family-friendly. 🦜🎠
A small tip: on very hot days, some animals stay in the shade or inside their shelters, so you might not see all 200 — but that’s totally understandable and doesn’t ruin the experience.

"Beautiful park, fair prices and a lot of fun for all kids between 1 an 14 yo.
Many adventures, animals and playgrounds.
Only disappointment was at the end. We had 1 jeton left and went to the pony ride at the exit at 17:40 (closes at 18:00). After 10 Minutes of wait in the queue, the staff put a big metal rail just in front of us and said „that its for today, we want to close at 18:00“. It was only 17:50 at this time. I begged them to do one ride because we saved exactly 1 jeton for the end and our 2 year old child wanted to do the pony ride. Unfortunately she declined rude and my son started to cry. It took him quiet a while to recover. This was a very sad endind for an otherwise perfect day."
