"A beautiful place really. I think this is the most pretty location in Lithuania as someone who lives here. One of the main attractions of the Curonian Spit, it is a must-visit if you're on the island."
Jonas (Jamiteryou)
"Our international tour group of 11 travelers booked bike rental from VELA NIDO bike rental. We enjoyed biking about 3 miles to the dune. We reviewed the dune and the obelisk with native symbols. We walked to the platform to see the border with Russia, 5 Kilometes away. The signs posted state no walking on the area beyond the short fences in symbols that anyone of any language can understand. We swans y foot prints and people walking in the dune to get better pictures.
We stayed on the oath and made great pictures.
Many steps up to the dune"

"South of the artists' village of Nida lies one of the two dune areas of the Lithuanian part of the Curonian Spit: the Parnidis Dune. The perpetual wind has blown the white dune sand up to a height of 52 meters, so that the (difficult) climb through the loose sand is rewarded with a magnificent view over the Curonian Lagoon. A fantastic hiking destination!"
