What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Reviews for Klaipeda's municipal services, including customer service and transport, highlight issues with staff attitude and bureaucratic processes. While the city's historical areas like the Town Hall are generally appreciated for their charm, some visitors have encountered negative experiences with public service personnel.
"Old and creepy place"
Dainius Žuramskas
"Klaipėda bus controllers showed their "humanity" again - as if they were unchained.
On August 6th, at the Vėtrungė bus stop, seniors (76 and 72 years old) who bought TWO tickets and rode for several stops were issued a fine receipt because... one ticket simply did not fit. The driver clearly said - you just need to put the tickets on the screen and everything would have been fine. But it is more important for the controllers to appear like some low-ranking animals who are just waiting for a chance to bite.
The driver even tried to defend the elderly, but "Mr. Controller" began to shut him up aggressively - apparently, complexes from childhood. Do such scum of society really have the right to work with people? Maybe the municipality or responsible services should turn a blind eye less often and clean up the manure of their personnel more often? Because now it seems that the selection for these positions is taking place at the container"

"I am not satisfied with the communication during today's visit in the Municipality customer service office. The lady's mood was for some reason grumpy. She was in a hurry to talk, the smile was not visible until she entered the office. I think... MAN, you work in such an important institution, it's clean, beautiful, many would envy such a workplace. A smile should be radiant. But no, a person is not appreciated... when you have a different life experience, you just never stop being amazed. The woman is lucky, I don't know her last name"
