Reviews Summary
Visitors find Silver Cliff Viewpoint to be a moderately challenging but rewarding hike with breathtaking panoramic views of Vang Vieng's iconic karst landscape. It's praised as a quieter, more serene alternative to other popular viewpoints, offering a peaceful escape. Some find the hike strenuous, especially in the heat, and recommend sturdy shoes and plenty of water.
"At first I thought it was easy hiking the mount but it turned out to be already challenging to me. It took about 40m up and 30m down. I felt exhausted and sweat much along the way, but it was a good experience. I recommend to wear sandals or snickers there, bring mosquito repellent as well, some water and snack for supplying energy. Entry ticket is 20,000 kip each."

"Moderately challenging but great hike. 20k entrance fee. Mosquitoes present but not too bad (didn’t get bitten without bug spray but kept moving). Take plenty of water.
About 30-40 minutes to top (without stopping) and easy to follow trail. When trail split took left but that was fairly obvious. Rocky toward the top but totally fine with good shoes. Nice and quiet if you’re looking for more solitude than Nam Xay- only saw handful of people. Views at top are great, totally worth the effort.
The road getting to the hike was a little rocky with scooter but fine if you go slow."

"A nice view point with a buggy car.
Takes around 50 minutes to get up there. The trail is not difficult but could be slippery after the rain.
Entrance fee 20.000 Kip.
There are a few more view points if you want to continue, but much higher (at least 50 more minutes)"
