The workshops, particularly silk weaving, are highlighted as deeply rewarding and educational experiences. While some mention service at the entrance could be improved, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, with many recommending it as a must-visit in Luang Prabang.
"This is a place to explore and soaking up the local way of life in Luang Prabang. Beautiful place but service from the entrance must be improved. They seems not welcome the customer and not helpful on the rainy day. The girls in the shop was great. We purchased a few things from here."

"Well worth the visit! Amazing to see how this organization helps to preserve and promote local heritage and craft. We came outside of the normal demonstration times by the free tuktuk & didnt expect much. We were blown away by the very informative free tour that was given to us and the incredible work being done by the masters and artisans working here. Definitely come and visit when in LP. Also a large shop containing a huge variety of locally made artisan goods, many different items than their shop in town."

"I spent an entire day at this center, attending an embroidery class in the morning and a bamboo weaving class in the afternoon. The center is located south of Luang Prabang, and a tuk-tuk provided by the school will take you there in just a few minutes. It's a beautiful place overlooking the Mekong River. Here, the teachers -expert artisans supported by a translator- are incredibly kind, helpful, and patient. They will guide you step by step through the basic techniques of their craft. I loved every moment I spent here, including the delicious Laotian lunch that was part of the package. I wholeheartedly recommend this experience: it’s a wonderful way to immerse yourself in Laos’ rich artisanal traditions while enjoying a peaceful and relaxing day."
