"This place is an shining gem, which sits on a promontory on a beautiful stretch of the Indian Ocean. It has a perfect view of the sea and is removed from the hustle and bustle of Jacaranda just a few beaches away. The service was excellent, whereby we ordered our food from the menu on our way to the reef and returned to find our food, freshly prepared in a clean kitchen. We ordered a fusion dish (veggie taco) which was delicious, a tribute to the owner, Baraka's innovative creativity and thinking "outside of the box". There weren't any boom box music blasts, annoying beach boys, persistent hustlers or plastic trash. It is an exclusive experience with a view! Bravo Baraka!"

"The management of this place is absolutely atrocious. My friend had their wedding here and there were several inexcusable problems directly attributable to this venue (and not any 3rd party service provider hired for the wedding). Chief among these issues is the fact that the bathrooms didn’t work. Things happen; I get that. But then to solve the issue the management purchased water to facilitate flushing and then demanded extra payment for the water needed to fix their broken bathrooms. To ensure they got extra payment to which they were not entitled, they then extorted my friends by holding their licenses until we paid an additional sum of money for unverified expenses that should not have been charged in the first place. Moreover, the venue made incredible (if not impossible) claims about the volume of alcohol that was consumed, thereby forcing the wedding party to purchase additional supplies even though the originally agreed volume of supplies far exceeded the volume of alcohol that the wedding party possibly could have consumed. To the extent they thought we were mistaken, they could have provided receipts, which they refused to do. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. Beautiful location—but can absolutely not trust the owners/management. You will get taken advantage of 100%"
