Reviews Summary
Visitors find the Tomb of the Prophets to be a historically significant and spiritually moving site on the Mount of Olives. The ancient caves and the beliefs surrounding the prophets' burial add to its allure. Some note the historical discrepancy regarding the prophets' actual burial dates, but the spiritual atmosphere remains a strong draw for many.
"A beautifully moving place to be. There is nothing like standing in a place that was dug out of honour roughly 2,500 years ago. It cost 10 shekels to get in as it is maintained by those who live nearby. They are protective of it, for obvious reasons, but they are kind to visitors. Inside you will find the places where the Old Testament prophets Haggai, Malachi, and Zechariah were buried, as well as some of their followers. It was definitely worth the hike up the Mount of Olives, not to mention you get a great view from above!"

"One of my new favorite locations! Amazing underground large burial site. Pitch black so you need candles or sone source of lighting to make your way around. Will definitely return!"

"I went here on a Thursday just after noon and afternoon prayer. Times to visit religious sites are very important to know as a visitor, not down vote on stars for being locked. A humbling experience, and definitely worth a visit. You'll find it just half way down a flight of stairs from Rehavam Lookout Point."
