What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Guests consistently praise the stunning ocean views from every room and the unique saltwater infinity pool. The breakfast, particularly the French toast, is a highlight for many. However, some visitors found the strict pool and beach rules, along with occasional overcrowding and humidity smells in rooms, detracted from an otherwise comfortable and luxurious stay.
"The hotel itself is very nice and the breakfast was really good (though you do need to get a QR code and wait in a queue). What took away from the experience were the overly strict pool and beach rules. No drinks allowed in or around the pool, with lifeguards actively enforcing it, and only a small designated area where you could actually enjoy a cocktail. The beach closed at 5pm, and you couldn’t bring drinks there either. The swimming area was tiny, roped off, shallow, and very hot. Overall, a comfortable stay but the pool/beach restrictions made it less relaxing than expected."

"We spent 5 nights in this amazing hotel and it’s somewhere I’ll be dreaming about forever!! We had a gorgeous room at the beach house with a perfect ocean view. The grand size of the room was well appreciated and all the features were perfection. We were able to park our rental car right next door in the parking garage. Shuttle service to main area available 24h. Laundry services were easily accessible. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Dining options were great. Breakfast at the regency club was something I began to really look forward to in the mornings. I know others have mentioned it but the French toast truly is unforgettable. I even got the recipe from the chef himself! Hyatt never disappoints and this was certainly one of our favorite stays thus far! Thank you for your hospitality!"

"⚠️ Very disappointed with our stay at Hyatt Regency Island.
We booked 4 nights for ¥452,300 through Booking.com and we still have 2 nights left, so we are currently staying at the hotel.
Since our arrival, we have noticed several serious issues:
• 30 minutes waiting time for breakfast, unacceptable for a hotel of this category.
• Swimming pools constantly overcrowded, with guests swimming fully clothed, making the experience unpleasant.
• Strong smell of humidity in the rooms, which is very concerning for our 5-year-old child.
• Poor overall organization (restaurants badly managed, services far below expectations).
• The price/quality ratio is extremely disappointing given the high amount paid.
A Hyatt should guarantee comfort, organization, and high service standards — this hotel clearly does not."
