Reviews Summary
Southern Cross Station is a vital transport hub, praised for its modern architecture and the convenience of the SkyBus to the airport. While it efficiently serves millions, some visitors find the station can be crowded and chaotic during peak times.
"Very interesting exhibition, friendly staff, great view, nice café next door"
Peter Saihtta
"First, take the elevator to the 5th floor, where you can get a good view of the other islands from the 360-degree observation deck.
Then, you can go down one by one and view the exhibits.
This is an ethnological museum-like facility where you can learn about Yoron (and the neighboring islands) fishing, wildlife, lifestyle, festivals, traditional culture, and more.
Yoron Island was used in Arashi's music video. The driftwood that the five members actually sat on was also on display."

"You can see a 360-degree view from the observation deck on the fifth floor. Unfortunately it was raining on the day we went, but there aren't many tourist attractions, so it's still good to look at the exhibits.
There was a solo painting exhibition on the third floor. The admission fee was cheap at 400 yen.
There is also a shrine and an interactive building on the same premises, which you can enjoy. The parking lot is large and spacious."
