"Rating this as a snorkeling beach. There are fish but nothing more than that granted we only swam in the borders of the swim area. Lots of seaweed and visibility was clear but not crystal clear given a typhoon was overhead.
The beach itself was nice. The sand was not fine but tiny stone variety. The beach was also not free with admission costing 500 for adults and middle school aged kids and 300 for elementary school kids. This price includes parking and shower facilities (no towels).
Life jackets were 500, a tent rental was 3000 and if you bring your own tent it will cost you 500. Food is available as taco rice, curry rice, coffee and flavored shaved ice all reasonably priced. Other gear was also available for rent including snorkels and inflatable donuts.
Bathrooms included a squat toilet which was old/dated but clean without smell. The showers were an old open room with five shower heads and serviceable for a rinse and change. No soap or shampoo.
It would have been nice for it to be free but it was well run and the staff were friendly. People need to make a living and I thought it was reasonable given how remote it was and their friendly attitude."

If you bring your own tent or parasol they will charge you as well a “corkage fee”.

We got a taxi from Naha on a recommendation, but then you’ll get stranded on the beach because there are literally no taxi/uber that will come pick you up.
We got lucky that the attendant called a taxi to pick us up but it was very complicated."
