"The terminal in Hitakatsu, located on the upper part of Tsushima Island, is of reasonable size. However, when crowds gather, the waiting area fills up. For the past several years, I've never seen a terminal so full that people are forced to leave, but I witnessed it at Hitakatsu Port on Tsushima Island. I was truly amazed at how people can exhibit the same ebb and flow.
Because of its island nature and the overwhelming presence of Koreans, Tsushima Island conducts strict baggage checks upon entry. Even if you pass through immigration, your luggage, whether it's a carry-on or a backpack, will be opened for inspection. This can take a while. Please keep this in mind..."
