To anyone who is thinking of going to Ghibli Park Aichi anytime soon, this is your sign to forget about it. Not only was it just long queues, the park isn’t fully opened yet, and almost half the exhibits aren’t allowed photos (means no google lens) Don’t waste your hard earned money 😅 #ghibli #aichi #japan #ghiblistudios

Reviews Summary

Visitors praise the Aichi Museum of Flight for its impressive display of aircraft and models, along with the excellent views of Nagoya Airport from its observation deck. Some note that certain exhibits, particularly those allowing interior access to planes, can be roped off, and information may not always be in English. The museum's location is considered a bit out of the way for those not already near the airport.

"Great Display of plane and models, along with a nice view of the nearby airport.
My biggest complaint though is that most of the planes with ladder leading inside were roped off, which is quite a shame."

Ken Huang

"Went here as part of a tour, probably would not have been there otherwise as it was very out of the way. Pretty standard, interesting aviation museum. Had a fair few planes on display including both modern and historical aircraft, even a restored WWII fighter jet, all of the planes were quite interesting and a few of them were available to look inside. There seemed to be more available to do and look at however when we went most of it was closed (late on a weekday). Some of the information was not available in English, but all of the plane’s names were written in English.

The tarmac was visible from the museum and it is possible to see planes taking off from the lower floor of the hanger.

I would recommend the museum for locals or those visiting the nearby airport, however if you are visiting Nagoya I would consider it a little too hard to get to."

James E Boyakovsky

"A really nice, if small, museum that features a lot of model aircraft (of planes previously used in the IJAAF and IJNAF) and a super cool observation deck on the roof to watch arriving/departing planes and helicopters. The babydoll Zero was cool and its history is very neat! I just wish the museum was more acceasible from Nagoya Station - but thats not the museum's fault."
