What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors generally find the Asahi Suita Brewery Tour to be an informative and enjoyable experience, especially appreciating the free beer tasting. While the tour is primarily in Japanese, the visual aspects of the brewery and the tasting process are well-received by international guests. Some travelers note that booking in advance is crucial as slots can fill up quickly.
"This was a great experience and pretty tech advanced. You get the history and tour via a walk through with video, VR experience, and sensory simulated ride. The facility is sleek. At the end, you get 2 full-size beers and a souvenir. The ONLY THING is: don't lose your ticket! Or make sure to get the wristband. You are supposed to get a wristband (maybe after buying the ticket from the ticket machine). I never got one (didn't know) so when it was time for the tasting, it was a bit of a mess. Luckily, they honored me being there and my word that I bought the ticket and wasn't driving. Anyway, great tour and appreciate their call out on sustainability initiatives. Highly recommend. They really should charge more."

"Judging by the reviews not enough people come here and this was one of the most unexpected surprises of our trip!
It’s a little out of the way from the centre of Osaka but easy enough to get to and if you love Asahi well worth the visit.
The ticket is only 1000¥ but for that you get a guided tour, a taster session and some free merchandise; all of which exceeded the value of the ticket.
Only criticism would be that the guide is only in Japanese which makes it a little more difficult for tourists but regardless can’t recommend this enough, we had so much fun."
Chris Martin
"Fantastic experience 👏 would definitely recommend it if you are a lover of japanese beer. Reasonably priced at $1000 Yen and includes two beers at the finish. Beautifully delivered and presented tour 🙌"

Language barriers can be a consideration. Many tours are predominantly in Japanese, but the visual nature of the brewing process and the tasting notes often transcend language. It's always best to consult the official websites for the most accurate booking information and tour schedules.
