"Beautiful spot for fall colors! If you just walk around the main area, you won’t need a lot of time here.
If you’re into taking photos though and want to walk a little bit more, then I would say give yourself 1-1.5 hours here.
Parking is available and it was free. During the peak of the fall colors you might have to wait for parking.
These photos were taken on 11Nov22."

"Best season - Autumn! It's very beautiful.
The scene is very fresh and enjoyable.
Transportation > We went there by train and taxi to save time. Unfortunately, the cost of taxi was more than we expected. It was nearly 3000Yen. The advantage is that we can get off at the car park and walk straight ahead to the valley. The taxi driver give free tissue with phone number and you can call that number to go back. There is also a bus but it is not frequent. Going with car is also not good because you need to wait for a long time to park by queuing.

"Gokei gorge is beautiful and well worth an autumn visit. However, for this year, 2022, the best of the autumn foliage has passed. If you're in the area this weekend, there may still be something to see. The path to the observation deck is still closed."
