While the building is older, it's impeccably clean and well-maintained, offering a genuine and comfortable ryokan experience. Some guests noted the shared facilities, but found them to be clean and not an issue, especially during quieter times.

"The landlady and waitresses were very kind and considerate to us! The inn is small, but everything was kept clean! The bathroom was clean and the toilet was spacious and clean, which was great!
Dinner was so luxurious that it almost didn't fit on the table, the seafood was fresh and delicious, and I was full! It was my first time to try plum chawanmushi, and it was really good! We had the baths to ourselves in the morning and evening, and we were able to take our time in the baths, which were very smooth and slippery 😍 My skin was so silky smooth!
I'll definitely come again!"
