"A must-visit for anyone travelling in this area. They have a lot of really useful tourist information (some in English), local food and drinks, a food court and kiosk. The green tea icecream from the kiosk uses local tea which is awesome, and they also have the local speciality 'goheimochi' which is a miso flavoured charcoal-grilled riceball on a stick.
This place is even good for doing some grocery shopping, it's great to find local ingredients and meat (including game and somewhat unusual meat like bear and rabbit). The bakery is amazing too, the rye bread loaves are great for people picky about bread :)
It's a michinoeki too so the toilets are always open and they're clean. And if you know about michinoeki you know about the options for staying here if you have a camping car."

"Good rest stop however the wifi was patchy. If you stay overnight there is a tanoid that starts up at 6am every 5 minutes and is very loud.
Toilets are very clean, no hot drinks vending machine however there is a microwave and hot water available for noodles and food from the vending machines."
