What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the Samurai Restaurant Time's high energy, dazzling performances, and overall fun factor, calling it a 'tourist trap in the best way.' While the food is standard, the electrifying atmosphere and engaging performers make it a memorable spectacle, though the intense lights and sound might not suit everyone.
"The venue deserves at least 7 stars, and the performers at least 10 stars.
Crazy show, crazy energy. Great fun.
My British mind was blown by a lunchtime show. Never seen anything like it.
Definitely a tourist trap, but in the best way. And we were tourists. Gave us everything we thought we might get from a Tokyo visit."

"High energy & a ton of fun!!! We ourchased our tickets from America. When you enter the venue, you're greeted quickly and offered a kimono shirt for the performance. How fun!!! It was great for pictures. You walk through a very vibrant hallway, staircase and into the performance room where you're seated based on your ticket type. We had front row!!
The ticket comes with a meal and you order more or drinks as the night progresses if you would like. As the performances start, they were very entertaining!!! You could see that these were professional dancers and performers. Showcasing Japanese culture and Samarai culture. Girls and boys were all amazing. Great costumes, great energy, a wonderful performance. If you're interested theater and a show, with dinner included, book the tickets!! Great for a group of friends + family-friendly too."

"great time as a date night with the wife. all adults there (nothing nude or crazy, just that there are drinks sold there, so I keeps the kids out) dancing was fun and food was normal. nothing was too expensive (especially for the area it's in. we had a lot of fun and enjoyed how the dancers interacted with us a little bit (they were busy dancing so it was nice if they took a second to pose for a pic). anyway we will add this to our "bring friends and family here" list, when they visit us here in Japan!! thanks for a fun time! Also, please note that it's all in English and very much a touristy place because they introduce sake, mochi, and Japanese kompi!"

👨👩👧 Families with Older Children
