What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Shibuya's live music venues for their incredible music quality, vibrant atmosphere, and friendly staff. The intimate settings and diverse genres, from electronic beats to hip-hop throwbacks and open mic talent, create memorable nights. While some venues can get crowded, the overall experience is highly positive, with many calling it a new favorite spot in Tokyo.
"When I read the review that people were rude and that it was mostly foreigners I was a bit hesitant - but well, I'm glad I still went because it could not be further from the truth. First of all, the staff and the artists were super nice, the drinks tasty, I didn't see any tourists other than me and most importantly, the music was incredibly good. I was expecting an average covering-the-classics band, considering that I went on a Monday evening. But boy, maxed-out talent, very professional and with a superb stage presence. From the first to the last song the atmosphere was beautiful and you could notice how the performers themselves also had a lot of fun. The DJ who played before and in-between the live act was also great, very engaging mixes and great song selection. I've been to a couple of live music venues in Tokyo over the years, but this is my new favorite place."

"Tuesday Open Mic Review:
Such an open and inviting crowd of musicians and spectators! Everything about this space felt welcoming.
The area doesn't have much room for everyone in attendance, but people were able to get creative to be able to enjoy the show.
They allow for a two song or 20 minute set, so plenty of time to get the crowd engaged. Be sure to bring an aux connector if you're playing background tracks so that you don't get missed.
The staff was friendly and open to conversations which added to the friendly vibe.
I highly recommend stopping by when you can."
