"Very rustic onsen experience. It’s tricky to get there, the last bit is gravel road which is poorly maintained and very narrow. The onsen itself is very pretty but even in the late fall it gets pretty crowded, at least on weekends.
We enjoyed the visit nonetheless and thought it was well worth the adventurous drive."

It had been raining heavy the previous day which is why the river was moving fast. We used the mixed open onsen and even though there was about 15 of us in total there was still plenty of room. Left feeling relaxed and with silky smooth skin."
