Reviews Summary

Seisuiji Temple is praised for its ancient charm, majestic cedar-lined entrance, and the unique overhanging stage of Guzeden Hall. Visitors appreciate the tranquil atmosphere and the historical significance, especially during autumn. Some note that the temple is not particularly well-maintained and can have uneven stairs.

"This is an amazing location that has a ruin like feel as you enter the temple grounds, flanked by aged granite slabs and old cedar trees. As you walk into the first cedars flanked pathway you will come up into a curious temple hidden behind shrubs. Walking up stairs on the left and admiring the platform (similar to Kiyomizudera) that it's built on you will notice that the temple on top is really aged with its wood but still standing firm.

This temple, while not huge has left me with amazement and worth a visit!"
