Reviews Summary

Tsugaike Kogen is highly praised for its beginner-friendly, wide, and long slopes, making it a relaxed and enjoyable experience for learners and those seeking a less crowded mountain. While experts might desire more challenging terrain, the resort offers excellent value, diverse dining, and beautiful scenery, making it a top recommendation for a comfortable ski holiday. Reddit

"Tsugaike holds a special place in my heart. Very wide and very long slopes are well suited for learners and those wanting a more relaxed experience. It was busy when I was here, but it never felt 'crowded'.
Experts or those wanting more of a challenge may find the runs themselves a bit lacking, or the gondola ride long. But even though I would move on to the higher-level resorts further south later in the week, I could never be disappointed with the experience at Tsugaike.
Lots of restaurants and bars on these slopes and in this village too, and a convenience store is near the base if you want to stock-up before taking the bus out."
