"One of my favorite temple complexes in Japan. You can easily avoid the crowds and it's open 24 hours a day. Something very peaceful and contemplative wells up inside as you walk around. Many famous people buried here as well as Nichiren himself or at least the site where he was cremated.
If you bring a lunch there is a nice park area behind the cemetery with benches."
