What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the Sumo Hall Hirakuza Osaka for its fun, entertaining, and culturally rich experience. The blend of powerful sumo demonstrations with humorous commentary and interactive segments makes it a highlight for many. The friendly staff and the opportunity to engage with the wrestlers further enhance the positive atmosphere.
"The Sumo Show was so much fun! Every member of the staff was kind to us from the moment we entered the gift shop. The tickets recommended that we arrive about 45 minutes before the show starts - I think you can get away with coming only 20 minutes before the show time.
Upon entering, you are given a drink that comes with your ticket and then promptly seated. I recommend getting seats directly in front of the stage for the best views. Seats are on tiered levels, so no view is unobstructed. The bento box you receive is okay, but not the best quality, as some of the items weren't good cold. Out of all the food, I really loved the potato salad, karaage, and yakisoba noodles. During the show, you can scan the QR code at your seat for additional drinks and food. Tickets were a bit pricey, but well worth the laughs.
The show itself taught a bit of history and was humorous, keeping your attention. The host was absolutely hilarious, and the strength/flexibility of the sumo wrestlers are impressive. At the end, audience members get to take their shot at them - a great ending. Overall, if you are looking for a fun night out, I highly recommend this experience."

"Fantastic experience! Delicious bento box at the start. The host was hilarious and brought awesome energy. The four wrestlers were skilled but were also great with moments of comedy. Sadly missed out on getting to challenge one of them but the people who did were very funny to watch. Highly recommend!"
