Ulrik Skøien Stafsnes

"Magnificent views of the cherry blossom season here in Okazaki Park. The views are plentiful and dazzling from every angle. You will have a hard time putting your camera or phone down and soak in the atmosphere.

Not only are the trees well lit at night, but the castle serves as the central beacon and landmark. There is a stunning red footbridge that looks absolutely gorgeous up close or from afar.

During the cherry blossom season, there are carnival style game and food vendors lined up everywhere on the park grounds. We had no shortage of tasty snacks, and entertaining games for the kids. Who am I kidding... Adults can join in on the fun as well.

Several canals and creeks run through or around the park. The lights and sights reflect off the water to create a postcard scenery.

I wish I had found this park earlier. I will definitely want to come back again."
