This place in Japan is insane! 😭🇯🇵 📍Doai Station is Japans deepest train station located in the mountains of Gunma close to the Niigata border. Located 70m below ground, there are 486 steps that you have to take to reach the bottom. And trust me, you will sweat 😳

"This is a nice, little train museum.
This museum focuses on the history of Niitsu, and the importance the town played for the railroad in Japan.
Lots of neat artifacts and displays. There's a shinkansen and locomotiive outside.

The museum is about 1500 metres from the train station, so it's walk able. There's also a bus for a couple hundred yen.

By the way, it's the building on the right that's behind the outdoor exhibitions. When you enter, simply buy a ticket from the vending machine and hand it to the employee."
